Add Tacksy to your home screen

Tacksy installs straight from your browser. Once it is on your home screen, your corkboard is one tap away, just like any other app.

On Android (Chrome)

1. Open tacksy.xyz in Chrome.
2. Tap the menu (three dots) at the top right.
3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
4. Confirm. The Tacksy icon now appears with your other apps.

On Android you can also hold the Tacksy icon and tap New sticky to start writing straight away.

On iPhone (Safari)

1. Open tacksy.xyz in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add.

On a computer (Chrome or Edge)

1. Open tacksy.xyz.
2. Look for the install icon at the right end of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install Tacksy.
3. Confirm. Tacksy opens in its own window.

If you do not see the option

• Use the browser the steps mention (Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone).
• Make sure you are on tacksy.xyz and not inside another app's built-in browser, such as the one in Instagram. Open the page in your normal browser instead.
• Menu names change slightly between versions of a browser, so look for words like "Install" or "Add to Home screen".

Do I need to install it?

No. Tacksy works in any modern browser on a phone or a computer. Installing just makes it faster to open.
